Period 7: All Summer in a Day Presentation

May 24th, 2011

Quick Project: All Summer in a Day…Again
For this project, you are to create an informational PowerPoint for the students on Venus in regards to what to expect when the sun comes out. This presentation takes place after the event with Margot. Her parents have filed a lawsuit against the school due to the events from the story and won. The result of the lawsuit is your safety PowerPoint. Your PowerPoint should discuss:

  • What is going to happen during the event?
  • What is the event like on other planets?
  • What are the expectations of students when the event occurs?
  • What precautions should the students take to ensure that they do not miss the event?
  • Your presentation should have at least two images on each slide, and make use of transitions, fonts, etc. When finished, your presentation must be submitted using the online turn-in form at http://www.oddlyreset.com/turn-in
