Periods 3 & 7

• Students read “Small Country” by Nick Hornby (pg. 20 – 26) in class and were given A2.36, vocabulary study and concrete detail analysis to complete as class/homework
• Students also need to be working on the unit 10-12 review study guide, which will be due in class on Friday, when they take the actual test

Periods 5 & 6

• Students read Animal Farm Chapter 2 in class. Students will receive A 2.37 Animal Farm Chapter II notebook assignment tomorrow
• Students also need to be working on the unit 10-12 review study guide, which will be due in class on Friday, when they take the actual test

Homework: 5/18/10

Periods 3 & 7

• In class read pgs. 13 – 20 of “Small Country” by Nick Hornby. Class/Homework was to work on A2.35 in their notebook.
• Students were also given copies of their unit 12 test to review and have signed by a parent or guardian.
• Students need to complete and study the unit 10 – 12 study guide in preparation for the unit 10 – 12 review test on Friday.

Periods 5 & 6

• In class students corrected Uni 12 tests, discussed Chapter 1 of Animal Farm, and were given class time to work on A2/36, the assignments for Chapter 1 of Animal Farm.
• Tomorrow students will be given copies of their unit 12 test to take home and have signed by a guardian.
• Students need to complete and study the unit 10 – 12 study guide in preparation for the unit 10 – 12 review test on Friday.

Homework: 5/17/10

Students were given study guides to prepare for the unit 10 – 12 review test Friday

Periods 5 and 6 began reading Animal Farm by George Orwell. they must finish chapter 1 tonight in preparation for a quiz tomorrow in class.

Homework: 5/14/10

Students took the unit 12 test in class today (except period 6 due to a fire drill). Students are to study for the unit 10 – 12 review which will be in class Friday the 21st of May.
