Students were assigned A2.34 “Lars Farf” Part IV and given time to complete it in class. Students also need to study for the Unit 12 test on Friday.

Students were assigned A2.34 “Lars Farf” Part IV and given time to complete it in class. Students also need to study for the Unit 12 test on Friday.
Students were assigned A2.33 Part III of our study of “Lars Farf…” by George Saunders and given time in class to complete it. This will be used to help students identify and compare themes across multiple short stories.
Additionally, students need to prepare for the Unit 12 vocabulary test, which will be on Friday, May 14th. After this test, students will have a review test on Units 10 – 12 on Friday May 21. On Monday, May 24th, students will be given a review packet that will contain all words that will be on the Unit 1-12 cumulative final, which will be in class on Tuesday, June 8th.
Students were assigned A2.29, an assignment that has them analyzing the story “Seymour’s Last Wish” by Sam Swope.
Student notebooks will be collected TOMORROW and activities 2.14 – 2.29 will be assessed.
Today in class, students read “Seymour’s Last Wish” and were given assignment 2.28 to complete (vocabulary and analysis of the story).
Homework for the evening:
- Finish assignment 2.28
- Prepare notebook for submission (it is due Wednesday)
- Study for Unit 11 test (Friday)
In class, students read “The Contest at Cowlicks” by Richard Kennedy (not in the textbook) and were given A2.26, a guide that has them defining vocabulary from the story and analyzing a concrete detail.
As previously mentioned, notebooks are due Wednesday, April 28th, and students need to complete vocabulary for Unit 11 by Friday.
